About me

Hi, I’m Stez Neofytidis, a Game Designer from Greece with over 3 years of professional experience and 4 years of academic experience.
Currently based in the Netherlands, I’m honing my craft at Breda University of Applied Sciences, where I am studying Game Design & Production.

My journey into game design began at age 7, building imaginative worlds and systems with LEGO for my friends to explore. In my late teens, I gained my first professional industry experience, which solidified my decision to fully commit to this field.

After getting my first experiences in game development, I studied game development (C++ focus)
at Howest Digital Arts & Entertainment in Kortrijk. After 1.5 years, I realized that the course was not leading me towards improving my capabilities as a game designer as efficiently as I had hoped, so I decided to quit.
Following up with further professional experiences, I was still unsatisfied with my journey and decided to pursue a new study to fully focus on improving as a designer.

I’m deeply passionate about Core Loops and Combat Systems, with a particular focus on engaging Online PvP. I thrive on exploring new design methodologies, embracing the challenges they bring, and uncovering innovative solutions along the way.

My approach to design centers itself around the player experience & game feel, delivered through cohesive mechanics and a robust technical foundation.
